Biohackers, the latest German show on Netflix. It has been only a week since the show landed on the platform. Well, the show brings kind of a new concept to the audience.

To be honest not many of us are well acquainted with the term ‘Biohacking’. However, it also has a cliche storyline following the protagonist’s wish to avenge her brother’s death. If you haven’t watched the show yet, then this might be the queue for you to do it.

Interestingly, the show was scheduled to be released on the 30th of April. However, it was delayed not due to production problems amid coronavirus pandemic, instead, Netflix was concerned about the audience misconstructing some scenes in the show in relation to the present virus.

So, will there be another season of Biohackers?

Well, the first season ended on an interesting cliffhanger. So, the plot definitely has in itself to be renewed for another season.

Moreover, the sci-fi nature of the show appeals to the majority of viewers thus, creating a massive viewership for the show. However, Netflix just doesn’t renew a show only after a week of release.

Usually, there is a waiting period of 4-6 months in which Netflix judges, if a show should get another season or not. From the looks of it, I guess Biohackers could be renewed for another season in the coming month or perhaps in October.

However, we cannot be sure about that as, lately, Netflix has been turning down shows just after the debut season.

If the show is renewed for another season in the coming months then we can expect the release to be set in late 2021 or perhaps in 2022. Moreover, the storyline of the show might as well have some expansion. We could get a little more narrative into the show. Also, this could lead to unraveling Mia’s true intentions if there is any.
