Guardians of the Galaxy 3 is an upcoming Marvel Movie with the first 2 of its vol already released and looking forward to another one.
After the release of the second volume of Guardians of the Galaxy, there many rumors and speculation going around for the trilogy of the Marvel series.
Here is one that will cheer you Marvel fans, Guardians of the Galaxy 3 will not be delayed by COVID pandemic.
Guardians of The Galaxy Volume 3 Release Date
The trilogy was renewed way back in 2017, and James Gunn was hired to write and direct the Guardians and The Galaxy 3. However, due to his controversy regarding his old tweets, Disney fired him. They eventually rehired him again for the movie back in March 2019.
However, james was contracted for Suicide Squad, a DC project and he will return to the Marvel series after DC project is finished.
For now, there is the official release date for the movie. The production also seems to be halted due to the Coronvirus pandemic.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Guardians 3 will begin production in summer 2020 after DC’s suicide Squad. But with DC’s project being delayed, thta means Marvel Project will further be delayed. IMDB also lists Guardians 3 to be scheduled for airing sometime in 2022, while the Suicide Squad to be relased on August 6, 2021.

Guardians of The Galaxy Volume 3 Plot
James Gunn previously tweeted after a fan question that “Vol. 3 will take place after Avengers 3 & 4.” He also then wrote on Facebook: “Much of what’s happened in the MCU for the past 10 or so years has been leading, in a big way, to the Avengers’ Infinity War. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will happen after all that.”
If you don’t already know, Guardians Vol. 2 is set around four years before the Avengers: Infinity War – so the Guardians 3 will be set after many several years of Guardians Vol 2.
For the Plot, no details are available yet. But we can expect the upcoming movie to be different from the previous Guardians Vol. Unfortunately, some of our loved character will not be back of the likes of Yondu as he was seen dead in the previous film.
Gamora will surely be back and reunite with the Guardians. But since she is her past self, we many see her act differently this time. There are many chapters of the series that are yet to be explored.
Pratt has also reiterated that Gunn’s script is off the chain and it’s so good,” he even told MTV News. that we’re gonna deliver the movie and give the fans what they deserve.
Is it the last Guardians of The Galaxy?
Unfortunately, Yes.
A fan asked director James Gunn on Twitter: “please never stop making Guardians of the Galaxy movies. Keep it going as long as possible, please! I love these characters.”
Gunn replied: “Thanks – but Vol. 3 will end the trilogy.”
