The first season of the show was released back in September 21, 2016. Ever since the show took a massive breakthrough and has followed up with the second and third season of the drama.
Both seasons were first aired by ABC; then later on it shifted to Netflix for obvious reasons.

From the first season, the plot of the show is a political journey of Kirkman who turns into the president of America.
If there indeed is a fourth season of the show, it is expected to revolve around the life of the President, his political career will be taken into consideration after he took a vow to safeguard the country and become the President of The United States.
