Release date
The fourth installment of Indiana Jones series, ‘Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull’ came out for release in 2008. Fourteen years have passed and the audience is still waiting for Indiana Jones 5.
For twelve years, the film has been facing consecutive delays due to many reasons. Indiana Jones 5 was first supposed to be out in cinemas in July 2019. The release was then postponed for a year to July 10, 2020, but even that didn’t follow. Disney postponed the release back again, once more by another year to July 9, 2021.
However, in the middle of the continued global pandemic situation, Disney now has a final release date of July 29, 2022.
Cast
As of now, the cast is yet to be announced along with the title of the film. Although, it will be no surprise to see the legendary actor, Harrison Ford, back in the role of Dr. Henry Walton “Indiana” Jones Jr, as confirmed by filmmaker Frank Marshall who expressed that the movie wouldn’t be possible without Harrison Ford.
Plot
The storyline and the plot of Indiana Jones 5 is currently unavailable. It looks the franchise is going into an entirely new trajectory so there’s hope that the plot will be good.
