Locke and Key Season 2 is officially happening and it is based on a series of comic books of the same name by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez.
For Netflix, the show has been developed by Carlton Cuse, Meredith Averill and Aron Eli Coliete.
It is a Supernatural web series directed by Michael Morris, Tim Southam, Mark Tonderai-Hodges, Dawn Wilkinson, and Vincenzo Natali.
The series itlself has gained massive popularity and has hooked the fans with intriguing yet beautiful storyline. This genre can also be contained in the show with the existence of ghost and witches.
Locke And Key Season 2: Release Date
Locke & Key season two is currently still in the early stages of development, and add that the pandemic effect, so don’t expect to see on your TV screen until 2021 at the very earliest.
Locke and Key season 2 was originally plan and confirmed in late March 2020. But oh well!
Besides, the show has been just renewed.. So, it is hard to gather all the details about the plan for the next season.
It seems that the fans have to wait a bit longer for the second season.

Even if Netflix hasn’t released any sort of official cast for season 2, but we can expect the main cast to return for the next installment.

- Darby Stanchfield as Nina Locke who is the head of the Locke family.
- Connor Jessup as Tyler Locke who the eldest son in the family.
- Emilia Jones as Kinsey Locke who the middle child of the Locke family.
- Jackson Robert Scott as Bode Locke who is the youngest son of the family.
- Griffin Gluck as Gabe who is the love interest of Kinsey.
- Laysla De Oliveira as Echo/Dodge.
Plot: “Locke and Key Season 2”
The plot seems to pick up exactly where it left off in the end of the first season.
It seems Locke’s have been outsmarted by the demon as Dodge, Lucas, and Gabe. It is full of mystery and demonic activities. Even Eden (Hallea Jones) may be struck down and now controlled by the demon, too.
After the murder of their father, The whole family moves to the ancestral home of ‘Keyhouse’ and the plot is full of suspense and unexpected twists.
In the new house they just relocated, they find some magical keys and the keys have magical powers that are capable of an array of feats from opening doors to anywhere, even fixing the broken items(i would want that), and even allowing their owners to control other’s actions.
The main plot is that a demon is also trying to collect the keys.
Locke And Key Season 2: Trailer
Unfortunately there is no trailer for the second season right now . It is becasue the developemtn is in it’s early stages.The filming or production for the series hasn’t yet been released yet.
Locke and Key season 2 may include adn feature some of original stories from the comic, but there’s still plenty of material to adapt in years to come if they extend multiple seasons.
