In the first Season, he develops an obsession with a budding writer by the name of Guinevere Beck. He falls in love with her and develops an extreme, delusional, harmful obsession.
Joe grows an infatuation towards her and stalks her through social media and uses Social Networking as a tool to know her existence details and that helps nourishes his Obsession. He eliminates the obstacles to their romance.
The binge-worthy psychological thriller since airing has grabbed millions of viewers attention with the series outrageous and exciting twists and turns.
You Season 3 Release Date
Netflix renewed the series for one more time in January 2020. Now that it is confirmed we will get a third season. But, the question in everyone’s mind is when exactly.
With the current COVID crisis going on, it has disrupted the production and shooting process of the series. Therefore, season 3 may hit Netflix later than what we initially expected. However, we also expect the thriller to be released sometime around late 2021 or early 2022 if we are lucky.
Plot of You Season 3
Joe Goldberg falls in love too soon and he becomes wildly and too extremely obsessed with the woman. He is not only in love but also jealous enough to kill people who try to have a romantic relationship with his obsessed individual. Thus he also kills Peach who is the closest friend of Beck. Killing Beck ultimately and moving to Los Angeles develops his character with time.
In Season 3, Joe will be seen taking interest in his neighbor. According to some theories and rumors from both fans and critics alike, the new neighbor can be Joe’s mother and he can be seen obsessing over her in a non- romantic way.
However, Penn Badgley has declined this theory and clarified that the neighbor can never be Joe’s mother. The plot for season three is not revealed yet, but we can expect a great thrill and murders in the third run.
