Animal kingdom Season 5 is an upcoming American crime drama tv series with tons of family twists and turns.
The show was first premiered around 4 years ago and over the years, it has definitely managed to achieved quite popular and has make its way through.
The crime and family drama series was first developed by Jonathan Lisco and based on an Australian movie the Animal Kingdom from 2010. Animal Kingdom movie was written and directed by David Michod with the original network of the series being TNT.
Animal Kingdom Season 5 Release Date
TNT decided to renew and explore further with the animal Kingdom for the fifth series on July 24, 2019.
However, the show production has been delayed currently and the show creators announced on March 16, 2020, that production on the fifth season has been delayed and suspended “until further notice” due to the global COVID-19 pandemic.
However, as of right now, there is no official confirmation for the release date of the fifth season. There are some rumors floating around that the fifth season could be aired in August this year.
Usually, when a movie or show is about to be released, trailers are dropped and all its social media pages start to announce to get the show hyped for the audience. As of now, there’s no such activities around here.
One thing’s for sure and that is season 5 will be released sooner or later and everything seems to be in order. Hopefully, we will get to see them by year-end or early next year 2021.
Animal Kingdom Season 5 Plot
The show animal kingdom is based around a seventeen-year-old boy by the name of Joshua. His mother’s died and he moves in with his relatives the Codys. Codys is a criminal family that is led by Smurf and Joshua joins the business.
Leckie, an officer tries to help the boy leave and get out of the business.
In the finale of Season 4, we saw Smurf being shot dead leaving a cliffhanger to be explored in the next season.
For now, since there’s no trailer is released, there are not many stories and plot lines that we can explore or discuss. But we can expect more drama, crime, and action in season 5.
