At the moment, the Zoom client app doesn’t offer any officially integrated feature that allows you to cast the main meeting display to a TV screen. The Zoom Meetings app is not available on Roku Channel Store.
However, you can still cast a Zoom meeting to TV using third-party devices or software.
How to Cast a Zoom Meeting on Roku TV?
Note: You probably might have known about this but note that, the screen is just casted on your Roku TV, but your smartphone camera or laptop webcam is still the one participants in the meeting to see you.
Roku has an in-built screen mirroring menu which allows you to mirror and give access to your PC/Laptop or smartphone screen directly on the Roku connected TV.

While screen mirroring, it basically works like a projector via a cable or wireless connection. However the functions can be controlled only by your primary device whether it be your smartphone or laptop.
Mirroring in simple terms is a second screen shows what’s on the first screen.
How to get Zoom Cloud Meetings on Roku
Step 1: Plug-in your Roku Device to the HDMI port on the TV
Step 2: Make sure to Connect your smartphone and Roku device over to the same WiFi connection.
Step 3: Login to your Roku and head to the Roku home screen
Step 4: Open your Roku device settings < System < Screen mirroring option
Step 5: From the Screen Mirroring mode < select Prompt option
Step 6: Open Google Play Store and install the Zoom Cloud Meetings app
Step 7: Settings < Android settings < Connection & sharing option < Select cast
Step 8: From the available devices, select your Roku device and once the connection is established, your smartphone screen will appear on your Roku TV screen
Step 9: Open the Zoom Cloud Meetings app and login with your user credentials.
Enter your Zoom Meeting and it will be cast on your Roku TV through the Zoom Cloud Meetings app.
Mirror Zoom Meeting to TV With Chromecast
Google Chromecast is a streaming media player that allows you to takes content from the Internet and displays it on your TV. You can easily cast a zoom meeting to your TV via Chromecast device.
The Chromecast dongle that you connects to your TV via an HDMI provides you a way to control what you watch.
Note: Chrome browser is required to enable Zoom screen casting with ChromeCast.
Step 1: Open your Zoom app and enter the meeting.
Step 2: Once the meeting has started and is working properly, open your Chrome browser in another window < three dots < Cast from the menu.
Step 3: Tap on the Chromecast device that you want to mirror your Zoom meeting. Choose the Sources dropdown and click on Cast desktop.
Step 4: From the pop-up window, select the one that’s displaying the Zoom meeting and click on the Share button.
Finally, the Zoom meeting is mirrored to your TV.
Cast Zoom Meetings on Roku using Windows
As mentioned before, your Windows Laptop or PC and the Roku must be connected on the same network in order for casting.
Step 1: Press the combination Windows + P keys on your Laptop or PC keyboard simultaneously.
Step 2: Select Connect to a wireless display.
Step 3: It will search and locate for all the nearby wireless devices that are available on the same network.
Step 4: Accept the permission on your Roku and the Windows screen will mirror on the TV.
Step 5: Launch the Zoom app on your Windows device or use the web version on a web browser.
Step 6: Log in with your user credentials and cast to your TV for a bigger display and enjoy your meeting comfortably.
Use AirPlay to Mirror From iOS and Mac
Unfortunately as of now, Roku mirroring doesn’t work with Apple devices but there is still hope for Apple users.
If you are an iOS users – iPhone, iPad, or Mac, you can use AirPlay to mirror your display screen to your Apple TV.
Make sure that your Mac or iOS device are connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Apple TV that you plan to mirror to, otherwise it won’t work.
For iOS devices
- Make sure that your iOS device and your Apple TV software is up-to-date
- Pull down the Action Center
- Select Screen Mirroring.
- Choose your Apple TV name from the device list to start mirroring to the Apple TV.
- Launch the Zoom app and start your call or meeting.
The above process still follows on Mac. From the top of your Mac’s menu bar, simply select the AirPlay icon and from the drop dowm menu, select Apple TV.
Launch the Zoom app on your Mac and it should now display on the TV.
At the moment, you can only use Zoom Cloud Meetings on Roku via Screen mirroring/ Screen Casting. Zoom Cloud Meetings is really an essential for easy communication, make HD video call, share your screen, etc.
