The Outsider is an adaptation from Stephen King’s bestseller book of the same name as the Show itself. It is about an investigation that does seems like a pretty basic plot at first and soon it takes a gruesome turn around as a young boy is ruthlessly murdered by a seasoned cop.
Will The Outsider return for another season?
The Outsider Season One does indeed end in Stephen King’s novel. Does that mean the Show is wraped up? Fortunately for Outsider fans, it seem as if Price is gearing up to write another season for the show.
Here are the statement that he told IndieWire about the possibilities of another episodes of The Outsider:
It’s like pulling a rabbit out of a glass hat—of course, there will be another [if HBO wants one],” Price said. “There’s no such thing as a series that, if it does well, they’re not going to want a second season.

The Outsider TV series stars feature Mare Winningham as Jeannie Anderson, Julianne Nicholson as Glory Maitland, en Mendelsohn, Cynthia Erivo, Bill Camp, Mare Winningham, Paddy Considine, Yul Vázquez, Jeremy Bobb, Marc Menchaca, and Jason Bateman as Terry Maitland.
Plot: The Outsider Season 2
The Outsider show is about an 11-year-old boy at Georgia town’s who was brutally murdered by a seasoned cop. Some of the evidence are leading to a trainer of the high school. They eventually learned that the coach is innocent while investigating the case.

While police detective Ralph Anderson (Mendelsohn) and his wife (Winningham) are sad and grieving about death of his 11 year old son, he sets out to investigate the mutilated body of an 11-year-old named Frankie Peterson who’s been found brutally murdered in the woods of Georgia.
With this mysterious murder circumstances surrounding the crime leads Ralph to eventually bring in an unorthodox private investigator by the name of Holly Gibney (Erivo) who has uncanny abilities that Ralph hopes will help explain the mysterious case.
The Outsider Season 2: Trailer
There is no official trailer for the show as of right now. With this pandemic going on and the release date being postponed with all show and movie production ceasing work for now. There is no trailer for the show.
However, you can expect it at the start of 2021 if the series is indeed renewed for another season.
