The Society Season 2 is set in West Ham and revolves around a set of pupils in school.
All the kids leave for a 10-day trip school excursion but the plan got canceled and they are returned to town that same night. They then travel back to the town and the bus leave after dropping off.
None of the parents came to pick them up and they soon realize that a dense forest had covered the city. There is no link to the external world, no network, telephones, etc.
It seems that Everybody has just vanished in thin air and disappeared.
Becca also finds out that she was Pregnant and Greg Dewey kills Cassandra. Gordie hypothesizes they have been transported into a parallel universe.
The Society Season 2: Release Date
With the first Season of The society doing very well in terms of critics and viewership, the show creator announced that they are renewing for another season.
Initially, the series was renewed on July 9, 2019, and set to air in late 2020.
But it seem that the release date is going to be pushed back due to the coronavirus pandemic and has caused the production to be halted.
We can expect a late release of in and around the end of 2021.
The Society Season 2: Plot
The season 1 of Society ended with postponing the council elections and declaring about taking the energy. We also saw Allie’s mother reading to school kids.
In the finale of the first season, there was a plaque on the wall which read ‘We remember them’ along with all the names of the missing teenagers inscribed on it.
We expect the next season to solve these many unanswered cliffhangers and riddles. The main question of how they are in a different dimension remains unanswered. More of this will be explored in the upcoming season.
