Prison Break season 6 is an American tv serial show based on the brotherhood of two men, Michael Scofield and Lincoln Burrows tied in with escaping jail in any capacity conceivable.
Many Prison Break viewers are still very hopeful of the show to be renewed into season six after it was initially revived a few years ago.
The show has been received quite well in terms of viewership and reviews with a rating of 8.3/10 on IMDb alone.
Prison Break Season 6: Release Date
Prison Break used to be and is still one of Fox’s best-loved and hit TV shows when it originally premiered and ran from 2005 until 2009 on the network.
The series was brought back again in 2017 with the fifth season of the escape drama on route.
However, Season 5 did come to an end in May 2017 and leaving the fans wanting more episodes.
Lincoln Burrows star Dominic Purcell announced back in December 2017, that season 6 was in production. Even fox itself announced about the upcoming series and state that the show was in early development
Although the hope was squashed for Prison Break fans in the summer of 2019 when the writers admitted that a renewal was not currently on the cards.
But in recent months, Sara Scofield star Sarah Wayne Callies took to social media and posted an image on her Instagram alongside her character with the caption “Happy Sunday”
While this doesn’t confirm anything, it certainly got the attention of the viewers.

There is no confirmation of adding new cast nor removing the previous ones. So, it’s safe to addume that the previous lead characters of the story will return to their roles with Dominic Purcell as Lincoln Burrows, Wentworth Miller as Michael Scofield, Robert Knepper as T-Bag, and Sarah Wayne Callies as Sara Tancredi
Prison Break Season 6: Plot
It is quite likely that Michael Scofield may be released from jail in the coming seasons. In any case, the show might adjust to the newer enviornment and there is no official plot reveal as of now.
Show star Dominic Purcell recently hinted about a potential return of Prison Break Season 6. The reported was quickly spread like wildfire. Even if its given a greenlight for ther production top go ahead, it can take longer than expected to reach our screen.
